High Ropes - High Hopes - Access for Everyone

The Leicester Outdoor Pursuit Centre is deep-rooted in the City of Leicester, with a history and visiting customers who can recall visiting the Centre some 40+ years ago. Photographs date back further to the early 1900’s with boating trips operating from Loughborough Road bridge, which is date stamped AD1834. Now, the LOPC is operated as an independent Charity offering a range of land and water based adventurous activity experiences designed to stimulate, educate and motivate young people and others at affordable prices, in a safe challenging environment.

Why we're raising money

On land, the Centre operates a fantastic multi activity High Ropes Course which enables instructors to run sessions Climbing, abseiling, crate-stacking, Leap-of-faith, Aerial Trek, Powerfan, Zip-line and a whole lot more. The use of the structure over the past 10+ years has had upwards of +100,000 participant sessions and with demand for use so high, the Centre would really like to invest in a new facility that will support greater use over the next 20+ years, inspiring future generations to a fit and healthy active lifestyle.

The development of a new structure is a massive investment. We need your help to make the new structure exciting and challenging for the future, with increased funding we can provide greater experiences for those who will benefit the most.
